Northern Peru

The cities of Chiclayo and Trujillo share the wealth of the Moche and Chimú cultures, creators of the great citadel of Chan Cha, the tomb of the Lord of Sipan, and many more archaeological places in the area.

The tomb of the Lord of Sipan, a very important Mochica warrior, reveals incredible value objects of gold and silver. While Chan Chan, in Trujillo, is the largest clay brick citadel built by a pre-Hispanic civilization in the Americas.
