Huaraz

The land of snowcapped mountains and deep canyons, known also for its beautiful turquoise lagoons and long paths perfect for hiking. The Cordillera Blanca forms its dramatic eastern skyline and it frames the Huacarán National Park, home of various animals such as the jaguar and the Andean condor. Huaraz is also home of Peru's tallest mountain, the Huascarán, which reaches a height of 6768 meters above sea level (22204 feet).
